Australia is a product of a unique blend of flora and fauna. It has a very dramatic landscape and is famous for its "outback," the remote lands of the interior. Our National Landscapes are places that capture the essence of our country. Now days the identity of all Australians is being influenced by our natural environment. People are growing more aware of the need to protect our coral reefs, our forests and the erosion and destruction of our beautiful coast line. Also global warming being discussed more and more by all Australians because it is believed that some of its wonder and beauty may gradually disappear.
